Baby Moses

I visited some friends in Kitchener when I was out that way, and M. asked her daughter (2.5 years old), "What should the new baby's name be?" Without skipping a beat, she replied, "Baby Moses." She stuck with it too, later M. asked her a couple more times and the answer didn't change.

So, I don't think Moses Chu quite suits us... but if you were to have a baby right now, what would you name him or her? We have a girl's name picked out, and a couple of boys names that we like, but I am curious to hear what you think...

I like Gabrielle/Gabriel. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I also like the plain ol' Todd for a boy.

Laura likes Nadia.

That is funny! I thought Nadia before I even saw Dunn's comment! And for a boy: Ethan or Brady

I have always LOVED the name Morgan Evelyn (that would have been Blake's name had he been a girl) and I have always loved the name Dayton. Friends of my Mom's had twins a couple years after Keri & I were born. They were boys named Dayton & Sheldon.
CUTE!

Oh, I like Morgan too (for either gender). Jordan, but for a girl. Dayton is nice too! I don't know any Daytons...unique! I'm getting some good ideas =)

The gender neutral names are a whole other thing eh? I know a guys and girls named Morgan and Jordan (and Logan). I also know a guy named Dayton (and one named Daytona). I like Todd... I don't think it's plain. It's tricky to have a name that is not too common and not too "out-there." Our last name is so short that I think 2 syllables will be minimum (mind you my friend just had a boy and named him Luke Black, I think that sounds good).

Decisions decisions!

Oh ya... Luke! That was the name I wanted for Blake. But Roger taught Karli to refer to the baby as "Lucus Pukus" and so that was the end of that!! Roger was set on Blake.

If you name him Todd... at least he will have a Purdy's Chocolate Bar named after him. Hmmm... on that note... Todd Chu... get it...
sorry, couldn't resist :)

Melissa's name was almost "Melanie," but my dad said he would always think "watermelony" so they changed their minds. Mind you, I think that discussion happened within about a half hour of us being born... since they didn't know we were twins until we were BORN! They had to come up with another name quick.
