Dayna: After two of my own I still don't understand how women do what they do. Pregnancy is an awesome and amazing thing that to me seems crazier than the wildest roller coaster ride anyone could come up with.

Congratulations you two - couldn't happen to 2 better people. You'll be great in the parenting field. You do realize once you take on the job, there's no switching careers even though the pension plan is a little dicey! It's worth every moment and we know you'll be wonderful parents. Typical comment for 12:30am lol. Sorry. Congratulations again! Are you soliciting name ideas? =) Or have some options already? My brother and sis-in-law deliberately kept their name choices under wraps because they just didn't want to see peoples' reactions (or the "oh I have an uncle named that" or "oh that's my dog's name!" or the typical Minnesotan "oh...that's different").

Dunn, sure, we'll take name ideas... maybe I will post it as a new heading... We make keep our actual choices to ourselves, but we're open to suggestions. We have a few in mind already. Too bad "Drew" rhymes with "Chu" because I like that name ;o)
Hmmm...I'd written this big long post about my experience with baby names this afternoon and got a message that blogger was down for repairs. I think it's the 28 responses that's got them overwhelmed. I bet you set up this whole baby news thing didn't you to secretly take over blogger? :) Karl is a programmer isn't he?
I wanted to be #30 but 29 will do I guess....
On the name thing you need to have a fairly thick skin we learned to put the names out. Everyone loved Evan but we had a few negative comments with Jonah which stung a little. Turns out it was a generational association with the name more than anything so we stuck with our hearts and don't regret it but it was a learning experience if we have another one....did I just say that out loud???
